January 14 – February 21 A train service between Orlando Airport and Disney World has been planned, but it may not be available until 2026 or later. Starting that date, guests can book a shuttle through Mears Connect, use a taxi, book a towncar, or use a rideshare service to get to and from the Orlando International Airport and Disney World resort hotels. January 1, 2022, brings the end of Disney’s Magical Express transportation service. 50th Anniversary character statues January 1st The celebration has brought new character cavalcades, new nighttime shows, EARidescent decor, and more to the parks for the next year and a half. Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration started on October 1, 2021, and lasts 18 months through 2022 and into 2023.
